I ran inside the church, followed by a zombie. When I reached the back wall, I turned around and hit the zombie with a shovel. It hit me once and knocked me behind the wall. I have sort of found a way around it. I ran into the wall, and while I was running into the wall, I disconnected. I joined another server, and voila, I was not stuck anymore.

This has also occurred to me in a high-rise apartment building and schoolhouse/office. Except the Zombie didn't hit me, it merely ran into me and pushed me through the wall. Similar to how you push/move other players when you run into them.

This happened to me as well, except in my case I was just walking towards the wall and kinda warped through it before I knew what was happening.
Confirmed that sprinting at the wall, logging out mid sprint and logging into another server while sprinting will get you out.

Happened to me as well .. wish I had read the forum then, I was pretty geared up at the time lol ... ah well :) I was lucky .. friend was here and managed to hit me through the 'doors' so I was bleeding to death quickly ...
