Basically I was looting a residential near Chernogorsk (one of the ones whose living space is above ground and require you to go up some stairs to get in). Suddenly I fell through the floor and now my character is stuck inside the building and unable to get out. Quite a disruptive bug this as it's gonna take a while for a character to die out.

I saw a post where to get out a person ran at a wall, then logged out while running. When they logged back in they were outside (untested but worth a shot).
Hope this helps those who are stuck, update if it works.

Can confirm sprinting at a wall as a temp fix. Took a long time to find the sweet spot, though I believe sprinting at a corner freed me from the particular building I was in.
Can't guarantee it will work for buildings of other kinds, though!
