I didn't realize this could be used for duplication, but I was going to post the following as a bug and it seems like the same issue:
An unconscious player's inventory will continue to display even after they've woken up. You can freely add/remove items from that players inventory indefinitely unless the player moves far enough away (5-10 meters?). Then the inventory screen will close. I've got a video showing this behavior if anyone needs it.
Can confirm this happens in 0.52
Server admins are not allowed to kick players for no reason, it goes against the hosting rules outlined in the link below. Report them:
Definitely related to rendering objects, here's how to test:
Stand nearby one of the larger cities, zoom into the city, the lag is noticeable. Turn around and face the wilderness away from the city, zoom in, the lag is diminished or non-existent.
This same issue happens frequently to a friend of mine. He can log in by himself and he's fine, but the minute any of us (myself and 2 others) log in nearby or approach him, he begins to exhibit these issues (can't equip weapon/interact with objects/etc).
This has happened on almost every server we've tried except one. On that server, he never experienced the problem. It didn't seem to have anything to do with the server population either - sometimes we were the only ones online, and occasionally there were up to 20. Unfortunately, that server appears to be gone now, so now we're back to hopping around (as often as we can) to try and find a new one that works...
Dropped a Small Protector Case while crouched in a pine tree. Case levitated about 4 feet off the ground. Could not access in vicinity or pick up. Screenshot attached (2014-03-23_00003.jpg)
Kicking players or even insinuating that players will be kicked violates the "Dayz Standalone Server Hosting Rules" found here:
WE (alpha testers) are the solution to this problem - read the details in the link and report abuse. This is not a bug/issue that belongs on the feedback site: it is the responsibility of the server host to take action.
Same issue on my Logitech G930 - there's a definite low, medium, high cycle happening with the background noise. Most noticeable on the log-in screen or during rain storms.
