Zooming in by holding right mouse button makes the game run like arma 3. Which is terrible. I usually dont like zooming because of the fps problem.

Probably related to all other slowdown issues reported. Probably because zooming renders more objects from further away.

Definitely related to rendering objects, here's how to test:

Stand nearby one of the larger cities, zoom into the city, the lag is noticeable. Turn around and face the wilderness away from the city, zoom in, the lag is diminished or non-existent.
