@funkybluebird I apologize friend, I wish I had the Permanent fix for this issue. The only thing i can do is tell you what has helped me and what might help you or anyone else with the issue, please don't give up and try your best to talk to the admins @Geez to hopefully grab there attention to the issue

Same man, I truly love this game and the moments I've had playing it
Just as a temporary idk "help" to the situation I have found that going to the network settings and turning it off and on while the game is stuck on the server list is faster than restarting the game.

I've been having this issue for months haven't played since august. Honestly I think it might be because I favorited too many servers but IDEK man that's just my guess. if there is a fix plz let me know. I have tried talking to geez about it for like two months and they said the same Wi-Fi shit and I was about done. Tried the shit in different Wi-Fi and pretty much said fuck it I've had enough. I don't want this to discourage you though, I just think you should know your not alone in trying to fix this ridiculous, and game breaking issue.

I been going through the same exact issue man, and unfortunately I don't think the dev's want to do anything about it, take a read through what I was told about this issue, I have been desperate for answers and help and haven't gotten any. And I've been experiencing this issue for well over 3 months so I wouldn't get your hopes up of receiving help anytime soon, If you do perhaps find a solution to this annoying issue, please tag me, and let me know. Still been having the issue even on different network, and wired connection, but i think I'm done playing this shitty game anyways cause even if i do . get to play it I have to experience 1000 other issues, oh and then your going to add more bullshit that will fuck me over in the next update (1.10)
I am completely sick and tired of your team adding shit in that is broken, instead of just fixing the things that are already broken, I honestly don't think ill play again until I hear from someone that OVER HALF the bugs in this game are fixed and wont happen again. The best way to get it to work I think is to 1. Restart your Xbox, or 2. start Dayz with a different profile and switch back in the main menu, Or 3. start any other game in your Library and wait till it loads then switch back to Dayz and try again, sorry that you, your friend and I are going through this man it sucks

Going through the same thing at the moment and nothing I do works, it damn near just luck if it works

Nah man my game never crashes it just freezes in the server select menu

Say you do this with a Pistol in hand, and you bring it back to your hand, you wont be able to reload because it thinks you are bare handed correct or you cant equip anything at all

I just want to say that the area that Chernarus is located on real life is usually snowy, and very cold, so I think that having the cold system is very crucial to immersion in Dayz. and I also believe that food should spoil but there should be a indicator as to how long it has till spoiled. Kinda Like Ark Survival Evolved has the spoil timer and i believe there should also be ways to preserve the meats in the game so that they don't spoil as fast.

@Geez, Yes I have had the issue with both official and community servers.
And any server I join has what I would say a 65%-80% chance to not let me log in, and it doesn't give me any error codes as well, it just fails to log me in and locks me in the server selection I was in, either one I try.

At this point its NOT playable. any server I somehow manage to join, I never get back in and lose any progress I've made.

This is getting really frustrating, I've put many, many hours of progress into this server and I cant continue cause of annoying game glitches, Please. Just want to play my game.
