Yes. You have to quit the application, (DayZ) on your Xbox dashboard and then re open it. It’s because you left the application running when you got off and the next time you got on day z it was frozen with no data response. Just restart the application-

Haha, but I’ve already tried restarting the game multiple times. Ive even delete the whole game and my save and re-download it and it does the same thing.

I have a similar issue, after choosing a server, I get a blue loading circle and it goes back to the menu. The character is also blurred. I haven't been able to play for almost a week 😭 Hope you find a solution!

I've been having this issue for months haven't played since august. Honestly I think it might be because I favorited too many servers but IDEK man that's just my guess. if there is a fix plz let me know. I have tried talking to geez about it for like two months and they said the same Wi-Fi shit and I was about done. Tried the shit in different Wi-Fi and pretty much said fuck it I've had enough. I don't want this to discourage you though, I just think you should know your not alone in trying to fix this ridiculous, and game breaking issue.

I have also had this same issue for atleast the last 2 months.
I have deleted then re-installed the game twice with no changes.
I once “moved” Dayz from my internal HDD to an external SSD
Which seemed to fix the issue briefly. Ive tried moving it several times since with no change.
I might get into a server every 1/100 attempts.
The game is unplayable.
Im glad to have found someone with the same issue.
I would literally pay for the game again just to resolve this issue!

Same man, I truly love this game and the moments I've had playing it
Just as a temporary idk "help" to the situation I have found that going to the network settings and turning it off and on while the game is stuck on the server list is faster than restarting the game.
I hope that this can help you.

Got in 3 times in a row today.
Had to leave server.
Cannot join anything now!

@funkybluebird I apologize friend, I wish I had the Permanent fix for this issue. The only thing i can do is tell you what has helped me and what might help you or anyone else with the issue, please don't give up and try your best to talk to the admins @Geez to hopefully grab there attention to the issue

The one S.
No changes.
I will try a wired connection soon.
No hope.

But i bought the game when it launched.

I have switched to a wired connection.

I have game pass ultimate and i bought it before it came to game pass. Ive also narrowed it down to my connection, I play on a wireless connection.

Hm okay. I switched from full subscription to trial, I think that the trial is the main reason I can't play online

now I am having this problem but I have tried every suggestion on here. Am i shit out of luck
