The thing you all have to realize is that unless you're either A: special forces or B: fighting in WWII, a real life infantry man is extremely unlikely to use any kind of "melee", as you see in CoD or Halo, or even Battlefield. As this game is supposed to pose as more of a mil-sim, I can't really see melee having much of a place with Arma unless you're constantly role playing as a green beret, and even then. The REAL problem with stealth (if that's why you want knives) in Arma is that the AI's detection and aiming haven'y been perfected yet, making it far too easy for them to spot and hit you with every shot as soon as you're nearby.
I figure I'd post about this again, for all you retards with selective vision. CoD OFICIALY has pussy power! (http://www.military.com/off-duty/games/2013/08/16/call-of-duty-ghosts-5-ways-its-different.html?ESRC=ent.sm) I will say this again, to all those comlaining about this being Arma, not CoD: GO PLAY MOTHERFUCKING COD
I really hope BI is smart enough to remember that this is a mil sim, not CoD: Ghosts where you get super aesthetic character customization. As a sim, you represent the real world. And in the real world, the US military does not enroll female soldiers into combat roles.
God, this brings me back to all the bullshit people go through to make sure there's more than one skin color in every game, and that at least made a small amount of sense. But the concept is the same, and it's stupid. Everything has to be "diverse" and politically correct, and none of it fucking matters (or make any fucking sense).
First note, I just read the first image included with the report- and it tells you exactly why it's a bad idea to have female soldiers. Directly. It was only posted because of the picture it came with, I don't think the idiot even read it.

I do think that weapon resting on anything (without bipod) would be messy and difficult to incorporate, and the micro-stances assist with firing from cover/buildings, but it should be common sense to add usable (and removable) bipods to sniper rifles and LMGs in a military sim like arma. Battlefield does it, source mods do it (Insurgency), I'm sure other games do it, and Arma would be the one game where it makes the most sense. Please add, for the love of God. Deploying the bipod can be in the action menu whenever the player is prone or in front of an object at the right height for deployment. In a sim, functionality comes before aesthetics.
