did you check after server is restarted?

I usually find plenty of stuff around when the server is restarted (because I think that's when the spawn happens). The longer you wait more and more ppl grab stuff so there's nothing left.

But SKS ammo is rare in general. I usually only use it as in my hand gun until I ran out of bullets then I toss it and use my mosin instead.

well you should chamber the mosin in its original caliber 7.62x54 Russian
The only 308Win mosins that you can find are surplus rifles that have been re-barrelled btw ;)

You can limit it to long range scope only?
so no PSU or iron sights. That makes it hard to use in close combat?

but on the other hand you have automatic M4s with 30rnd clip which is best for close combat.
so maybe limit SVT40 to scopes only, no iron sights.

I can confirm same happens to me. Lost 4 characters in past 2 days. Mostly when I get disconnected my character restart

Similar thing happen to me. I spawned on a server. Was looking at a player through scope and suddenly I get a message I'm dead.

Is this a hacker or is this a bug?
It sounds like somebody hit be on a head but I was alone on top of the factory. I would hear if anyone would climb up the ladder.

When I got to the same place again after respawn there were only a few items on the ground.
No body to be found anywhere.

at least you didn't die. last time I fell from a similar height I died
