In the prone position hold left ctrl(adjust)+ S to go into tactical prone.
While in that stance you will be sliding across the ground.

If you push A(left strafe) or D(right strafe) right after you push Adjust + S the character will slide across the ground non stop while in tactical prone lean position.
Confirmation:
Player is in prone stance.
Press ctrl + reverse (S) to adjust stance to 'prone lean right'.
By adding in a sidestep key (D) in quick succession, causes the player avatar to slide to the right.
It's easy to escape slide by adjusting stance up ctrl + forward (W)
Additional:
Sometimes occurs with 'Sniper Stance' but harder to reproduce.
This occurs in other stances. If you hold the Stance key, and quickly press+hold 2 movement keys(one left/right, one forward back) you will slide. High standing you will slide slow, anything else you appear to slide quickly.

I have this happening all the time when adjusting to the sitting stance one step above proning when on slopes.
Basically this issue should have proning removed from the name because it happens in a lot more situations than when proning.
Seconding that confirmation that the issue can be reproduced in 0.54.103957 by the described method.
Yes that's why I recorded the video as the issue is still in the latest Dev build. I'm loving the new stances though... :D
For me it only happens when I go from prone to sit prone. I always slide. Never happens when I go left or right prone positions. Sit prone is essential in some situations but 99 out of a 100 times I just slide instead of staying still.

Appears to be fixed now (unless not being able to do it has to do with rebinding some of my movement/stance keys).
Haven't played the game in a long, long time, so couldn't say at this point. I also see the same bug in BF4 LOL
