Description

Upon testing Expansion (Script heavy) with other script heavy mods it was determined that an enforced script limit is preventing servers which choose to add various custom scripts to crash or abort startup.

Install DayZ Expansion
Install mods which affect spawn location, AI spawning, or script heavy mods in adjacency to DayZ Expansion
Server will prevent launch due to a script limit being hit.

Yes this needs to be reopened as the issue is back with a vengeance mostly with using Expansion I get the server to boot with these mods,..

But if I was to add any others for example @Air Strike, @MunghardsItemPack, @MuchstuffPack, @OP_BaseItems,.. etc etc.. server will not boot,

Having the ability to add larger script baring mods together with expansion is needed to at least accommodate 60+ mods including Expansions mods and this script limit issue shouldnt be an issue anymore, The issue has been around since 1.13 at the least, A much higher script limit is drastically needed asap, I will also post this information in other relevant tasks to give wider acknowledgement in hopes a fix will arrive before the year is finished.

Please address the issue again. I've had the issue with out own Server and I know a few others, who are stuck with the same issue.

Ran into this issue again, I tried adding vehicles to my live server and encountered #initglobals.
I built a test server copying 1/1 including load order and all mods and the test server did not encounter #initglobals and was able to run 14 vehicle mods ontop of the live mod list...

I was hoping to see a potential fix in 1.16 but I dont see anything about it in the notes... Does this mean, with the new gun that I see noted, that we will now have less scripts we can load and less serverFPS for 1.16?

Disregard the above modlist, it is not relevant as the issue I was encountering was due to two admin mods being loaded at the same time hogging a lot of script room.

But I do agree, I would love to at the very least hear some thoughts on why or what the script limit is and why it exists?

Edit:

I would also like to apologize for not providing as much information as I could that was relevant when I created this ticket. I unfortunately created it during a time when I was under a lot of stress. I would simply like to figure out or understand why such a thing exists when attempting to add more than 5 or so really script heavy mods.

There have been reports that 1.16 Experimental has indeed addressed script restrictions once again. I have seen one reported success from a server owner that initially had issues with 1.15, but 1.16 EXP allowed execution of their desired modset without error.

Holding my breath for this.
