A big issue in gameplay is that players can "insta-pull" a weapon due to the lack of a proper drawing animation and get an upper hand against unsuspecting players.

Have weapon in inventory (not equipment slot)
Hot bar said weapon
Toggle weapon and hold right click slightly afterwards to nearly "insta-aim" weapon
Fixing this should encourage players to stop carrying multiple weapons or certain weapons that have an advantage due to the items size (Saiga for example being 7,3 which can fit in basic clothing)

can you upload a video and demonstrate this action? Are you talking about the quickdraw/hipfire action when a gun is in your hand and you hold down the right mouse button instead of just clicking on it?
Nice video, but with all due respect I actually like this feature because it lets you conceal your weapon if you need to. One of the benefits of being able to conceal your weapon is to prevent potential robbers in the game from seeing what you have for a weapon which will may make you into a target later on in the game. Another benefit of the concealment of a weapon in the clothing is that you wont look aggressive when trying to befriend other players, but you still have a concealed weapon for self defense in case a befriended survivor tries to backstab you. I do see a difference in the speed when quick drawing the weapon from clothing versus quick drawing the weapon when it is on your back though.

That's the point of this ticket. Please read the title and description again.
Pistols, sawn-offs and small tools should use the pulled from holster animation as they are meant to be accessed fast.
Full sized weapons and tools, particularly those kept in backpacks should take longer to pull out of inventory than off of your shoulder.
Hello everyone and thank you for your inputs.
We are going to check what can be done about this.

hello everyone.
There have been some changes for the 1.13 version which should prevent players from shooting the weapons too soon.

Geez
Are you able to share with us what changes are going to be implemented to slow down players (new/existing draw animations possibly)?
