Everybody that is still of the opinion that those who are complaining about the muzzle climb and overall feeling of the weapon do just want to have a silly fps pee shooter, please read keenly what's been wrote here about the problem.
Cychou for example made a good point: Not matter if you consider that amount of muzzle climb "realistic" or not, after releasing the trigger gravity and muscle memory will bring the gun back approximately to the area you began shooting (not saying it would be right on target again). That's just how it is in reality. Otherwise you would have to hold the gun up to the sky intentionally. That's just completely unnatural.
Let alone firing weapons like the LMGs from a deployed prone position. There is hardly any vertical muzzle movement.
And most of those saying the recoil isn't simulated right, know about how to use the weapons. You guys don't have to tell everybody: "You should fire semi automatic or in burst." or "You should consider that, do this, before complaining." Would make the discussion a lot more bearable.
This! My first thought after trying the new adjust stance feature was, I would love to bind this to "adjust button + mousewheel up/down".
The muzzle climb and dispersion are ridiculous in some cases. Everybody that is talking about "It's realism. CoD kids like to spoil our much loved milsim." has no clue, sorry.
There is a difference between recoil and muzzle climb. And all you see in a game (correct me if I'm wrong) is different sway from different stances, the muzzle climb and dispersion. Especially LMGs being fired from a prone position are unusable at the moment. Even short bursts (2-4 bullets) have a dispersion that is all over the place. Managing the burst by pushing down and left or even starting firing from bottom left to let the climb do the work won't help a lot.
Nobody wants to dumb down this game to make every gun feel like a pee shooter. But at the moment some guns don't feel right, others like the MX LMG and the FN minimi are not usable at all and a waste of ammo on ranges above 400 meters.
@jimmy416, when firing a LMG from a deployed prone position, your gun doesn't drift up to the sky by insane amounts and stays there, sry.
Mastermaul's summary of the problem is dead on. Muzzle climb is just ridiculous (plus the rifle doesn't return to the initial position as it would in real life) at the moment and especially LMGs are not controllable from a prone position.
@Herrofriend, the bipod is just a visual gimmick right now. It doesn't stabilize the weapon at all.
