Apologies! PLEASE CLOSE
Immediately realised my mistake.

Duh.
It now works for me! I verified my cache (first time playing since the recent update) and even though it didn't seem to update any files, it now works!
I'm so happy :D
The only way I can host a game properly (my friends see the game instantly on the server browser) is to switch my router to modem mode (disables all routing functions and wifi). An ugly fix just to host a game...
Forwarding ports or even a DMZ doesn't have any effect. Friends still cannot see the game etc
The router itself is a Virgin Media SuperHub2 (100mb cable connection) and is working fine and I can host any other game I want, just not Arma 3.
Until recently, I couldn't host games at all until I unsubscribed and deleted all Workshop content.
I can confirm this still happens. I played KOTH and Epoch tonight and afterwards Steam still says i'm in game. I couldn't find this tmp_0 process that apparently was the cause.
Just to add, if I switch my router to modem mode it works, and I can host a game and people can join. This is a nasty temporary fix as there's no routing nor wifi!
Even with the latest update I still have this issue.
It's extremely frustrating being unable to play even a simple coop mission with friends!
I recently was unable to create a MP game (freeze crash) until I discovered that some steam files (\Saved\steam\meta) to do with subscriptions caused that issue - once deleted I could then create the game. But now no-one can join the game I have created.
I have opened the necessary ports on my router, even created a DMZ! Nothing. My ISP is Virgin Media on 100mb, router is a VM Super Hub2.
It's a shame that I even have to try these things.
This is miserable fallout from Gamespy going under...
No, Lasers and Flashlights are not hold-to-use and have never have been in Arma AFAIK.

Upvoted! Why have modelled holsters at all if no pistol appears inside it? I noticed DayZ SA does it very well. If they do add it, I'd like to see different holstered positions (shoulder, hip, thigh etc).
