It would be awesome if you can choose roads or terrain as 'preferred' terrain for AI vehicles. If you create a route from point A to point B you should only need to set the start and the end point (without intermediary points), and if roads are chosen as preferred it will stay on the roads to get there as far as it is possible
During my military service we occasionally needed to sprint and fire at the same time, especially when fighting in urban environments and moving quickly from one spot to another while laying suppressive fire. The purpose of sprinting/running and firing is not to hit but to suppress and keep the enemy's heads down so they don't fire at you while you change position. I vote for allowing run and fire!
A built in melee function would be beneficial for many of the mods out there as well! If unarmed combat should be implemented (which I hope that it will be), it should be implemented thoroughly with appropriate player reactions on being hit to make it a bit realistic.. (Dead Islands hand to hand combat could work as a model i.m.o)
Just search for the mythbusters episode when they test how far bullets can travel when shot from land into water. Even a 50cal stopped within 3 feet (about 1 meter)!
the speedometer of my car won't show speeds higher than 240km/h either, I tried :D
+1 Good post, the devs and support people definitely deserve some cred!!
I Support the game by buying it!
I agree that it is a problem since
I use the map a lot even in fights to spot enemies where
Every second counts
Yeah, what r u talking about?
Thomson routers are worthless for games.. I had problems with mine with basically every game.. and I mean everything from Terraria to Arma 3..
Solution: Change router! It's going to keep causing problems in the future as well!
The inventory system needs an overhaul in general i.m.o
I agree with the low utilization of GPU and CPU processing power. Nevertheless, I must give BI some cred for making Arma 3 look 10 times better compared to Arma 2 with almost the same FPS rates running on the same hardware!
I vote this issue up as well though, we want better utilization of our expensive hardware=)!
As some of the people here have noted, it's also up to the hardware manufacturers. I remember my FPS in BF3 increasing with like 10-15 fps in average when Nvidia did their second update to their drivers after the release.
The game froze and displayed this message, after I clicked close I was able to continue playing without the game crashing. The error message was not in any way related to taking the screenshot.
I will upload DX diag files when I get back home on monday
Note: I was able to continue playing after the error message, it didn't actually crash
I agree on way too much recoil, atleast for the 5.56 weapons. I've been shooting most calibers in my military service and we rarely fired just one round at a time, more often atleast 2-3 rounds in a fast speed for each target and the recoil climb between those rounds were negligible for short and medium distances.
