Examples would be nice. But more importantly for beginners some templates would be good.
A base structure for single player (one playable character with/without squad), something for multiplayer with respawn and stuff already set.
It would at least encourage more user made content from those who otherwise don't bother due to feeling overwhelmed with the editor.

I think the most important thing is to have a more stable, clean solution.
The ACRE mod is fantastic, but its clunky to instal and even more so to get working. When my group uses ACRE it usually results in 2 hours of trouble shooting the mod for an hour of play.

Amazing immersion, but not a clean solution.

Having BIS take the good stuff of ACRE and build it into the game would at least give the less tech savvy individuals the realism they desire without the headache of trouble shooting.

The ACRE mod team can then expand on that to add all the fun complex stuff.

For sure!!
Binoculars should act like a weapon:

B to bring them up (away from eyes).
Right click to look through them.
Right click to bring them back down.
B or select a weapon to get out of binocular mode.

Bipods are modelled. They should be usable.
Would be a realistic feature. Would be a cool a feature.
