The reason is: Vehicle must be syncronized with group. Can be done in Editor.
I see the issue if you are like me. Don't have time to use editor. I prioritize play the game and all the great missions and scenarios you guys/girls out there are making. Thank you.

If you in game(f. ex a whole lot of altis or dynamic universial war system) have a function that can assign/unassign to HC. If you mount the group into a vehicle, and assign the group to HC, they now are able to use transport. As Get in/out command. Problem is: The group has to drive the vehicle them self. You as a commander can't have a transport unit.

I guess when you assign the group to HC inside the vehicle they get sync.

I guess the gameplay effect would be more negative than positive. A lot of players will gear up with 50 .cal and a machingun.
I know from realife experiance in CAS situations putting my teammates gun on the back and pointing my own at the enemy, it sucks. Getting his gun in the back of my head going prone. Getting stuck when passes through bushes and trees.
When all packed up with 120 L backpack filled with stuff and ready, it`s bullshit getting another weapon.

I agree with the sounds is unconvincing in the game.

  1. In line formation with your team opening fire it should be quite powerful and loud, esspesially with a machinegun in your team. Not just increasing volume, I miss powerful punch. Insects and vehichle sound should drown.
  1. I miss some of the same punch in incoming bullets near player. And it`s not always easy to hear where the shots are comming from. The longer distance, often it`s worse spotting.
  1. When I play the game, sometimes being shot at from medium distance I don`t notice. I only hear the incoming bullets, and know they are not insects. Pleas adjust the "energy" in incoming projectiles. I think they should be increased.

I have total opposite expirience. I think they are dumb, but have unrealistic aim.
Im an average player with average aim...
