now both shortcuts start without crash with deactivated DEV option.

both shortcuts will let me start the game to the main menu as long as "dev build" is active.

just tried it again and it worked this time.
nothing changed here since the crash situation.
i remember just one patch through steam, but maybe that was the result from opting the "dev build" option.
maybe that already changed and fixed it.
the .rpt file is from 06.03., i think it happened back then. not sure.
1.) unchecked the "dev build" option, it (un)patched.
2.) tried the mod-shortcut > said crash (attached a german screenshot)
3.) tried the non-mod-shortcut > crash as well (no idea why it worked before)
want me to add the .rpt and .log file again? their "last changed" date hasn't changed.
i'll try again and opt in "dev build". will report asap.

Mic21108, do you see markers in your view in real life? Or a little clock when someone points you into a direction? ;-)
You see.. It could ne Part of the extended HUD setting.
Indicators in real life: E.g. a heli Pilot gets an indicator where his WSO is looking.
A lot of helpfull info, indicators, etc. in this simulation series are just replacements of the natural situational awareness you have in real life. In this case you would just KNOW and FEEL how far you turned your wheels.

Especially when there is an "all"-option in the gear window, i expect to see ALL at once.

second: this report is not about not being able to move while changing weapons.
as a former soldier i can only confirm this.
the devs could keep the "longer weapon switch animation" for returning the backup weapon into the holster and getting the main weapon back into your hands (maybe a tick faster since you're not grabbing it from your back but from your belly).
