New Development:

After he returned from being a fresh spawn and able to do everything, as soon as he got in the vicinity of the gear, the same stuff would happen.

Glitched gear?

Confirmed.

It happens to me randomly, and is usually when I REALLY don't want to roll over.

Either happens when:

A: I got to stand up like you said. or
B: I'm moving slightly (Forward and to the side usually) and it just rolls me.
