Why haven't the devs assigned this? The issue shouldn't be 'new'. This is root cause of the incredibly low FPS when you look into a city. Culled occlusion basically. If you look at the ground or sky, FPS rockets to 120fps+ and GPU usage is 90-99%

@NiceGuyUK The games been in alpha for 2 years, of course we can expect this kind of treatment. I'm sick of this ArmA 2.5 engine running at 15-20 fps even in empty servers in cities. In the wild, fps = 60-100fps. When I look at the ground ANYWHERE, even in Cherno, I will get 140fps. The FPS should be stable. Even ArmA 2 doesn't do that kind of FPS change. The objects/texture loading will never really be fixed, because it's simply an engine problem and a result of the massive amount of enterable buildings.
Win 7 64 bit, GTX 780, Intel i7 2600k 4GHZ, 16GB 2400mhz RAM, Samsung 850 SSD..more than enough for this game
