Same issue here.

I can also confirm. My vision was grey and I was knocked unconscious. Friend gave me saline and color returned. My vision was not blurry though.

I can confirm that the food was not moved to another inventory slot. After I opened those cans, I searched through my entire inventory and on the ground and I was unable to find them. My character was quite literally about to starve to death (and did so about 10 minutes after this) so I was pretty thorough in my search to find the opened can, to say the least. It seems to be a fairly rare bug, as I've only been able to reproduce it a couple of times now.
