I dont mind 1st or 3rd person views but i like the 3rd person to look about while chilling n eating n stuff also for lookinb behind me as all i see in 1st is an Axe n backpack :(

Staffann is spot on, ya all need to keep eating/drinking.
My first few characters died due to either hunger or thirst. Hasn't happened since, if pay attention to your characters needs and focus on keeping them fed and watered they shouldn't have issues.
Soooooooo eat till stuffed drink take it easy untill you have the Healthy status in HUD and you be fine and your blood regenerate to

MY tip if eating put in on your action bar as eating can from bag is a pain hit the number n use middle mouse you can eat hole can n look about same if it in container put on bar no need to open the box from back pack

meh i did that with a green hoodie n ended up with no arms at all but still use items
