Just to clarify a few things:

1.) I am talking about stable 0.59. There was no option to choose stable in the drop-down list, that's why I chose 0.59 exp, but I wrote the right version in the "Game version" field.

2.) It is not ghost items being picked up by others. I am certain of this because at some point it was happening and I was the only one on the server. abasees, although what you are describing happened to us as well with guns, barrels and also the tires, this is a different issue.

It was so much fun driving the Lada when it was working. Hope they find whats wrong with this and can hotfix it.

The exact same thing just happened to me. Several times in a row. I had an AKS-74U and Winchester. There was enough space for the AKS-74U in my backpack, but it went to the back. Unfortunately the server restarted in just that very moment. Result, lost my main weapon. Latest version, 0.59.130612

This just happened to me as well. Other things also disappeared.

-Stones disappeared from the oven, leaving only the fireplace.
-Other items disappear from the fireplace/oven.
-Yesterday two protector cases disappeared from my vest after logging out and in again.

Are the DayZ gods telling me that I have too much stuff? :D

I have found many similar reports here about tents, backpacks, fireplaces/ovens etc disappearing, but I'd like to add that yesterday two items (protector cases) disappeared directly from my vest and today items disappeared from my tent, but not the tent itself. Not sure if that was clear. Thanks for your efforts

I have noticed the same behavior. Today it happened with a can of spaghetti. I could not replicate it with the spaghetti, but it kept happening with the Jerry Can both for me and two of my friends.

Same here, seems to be the latest thing. They pull the weapon out of your hand, then teleport to kill you. Very frustrating
