Appears that it is not rooftops, but the bridges.

I have included a mission (change txt to sqm). This is a different method to reproduce the issue. Just listen to the motors (on/off/on/off) and watch the boats try to sync with each other.

The other issue is that if I was squad leader and wanted them to move, I would have to issue the order twice from the map in order to get them to fire up the engines and begin their short journey.

It appears my markers may be too close; nonetheless, on the bridge just east, I replicated the same jerky motions of 2 of the group when the group was returning to "mkr1". On the way to "mkr1" through "mkr4", it was fine. I'm only two weeks into trying out the Editor and learning so maybe this is expected behavior.

Sorry, I said Girna but meant Agia Marina. The bridge next to the bay. I will attach a mission ASAP.

It can be done. I have a single player mission that I'm just about done with that has a chopper over water insertion. Set up waypoints to hover 2-4 meters alititude (flyinheight and limitspeed commands). Once chopper is stopped, I may then get out. Afterwhich, I then radio trigger my men out of the chopper with this code. Just change the dc3_1 to whatever you call your chopper.
