Yes this is possible, I have discussed it with another experienced player; it would have to be a cheater to have shot me the way I was positioned.

I deliberately got a wound infection from treating a wound with unsterile bandages and it respodned to a) iodine tincture in the first 20 mins, repeated the process and waitied 30 mins, the disease responded to tetracycline

I have the same issues with the same symptoms
