SmallBlackSheep, yes that's the exact same thing. Happens on almost all vehicles now. I can reproduce it while just playing the game. I never have anything running in the background and certainly not a music program. I have voices set to 128 and I'm running on a dedicated sound card (Asus Xonar Essence STX w/ Audio Technica AD700s) so it's nothing to do with my sound card. The game doesn't seem to be able to accurately reproduce more than 32 voices (possibly more, but not 128 for sure). It's as if the setting doesn't do anything. Miniguns on the KA-60 work fine though for me.

I've actually started noticing this happens on all vehicles now. It's as if the amount of voices when driving has been cut down significantly and all the vehicle voices will overpower any other voices.
Also, Eboost, just type dxdiag into your start menu and you should get an option to save as a file. Just paste it then or attach it.
By the way guys, ArmA isn't about GPU usage. Sure it will still use it's fair amount but you'll most likely notice your CPU usage is a lot higher.
Nope. It has to do with object spawns and players joining. The more people, the more the game has to track, the more CPU usage.
I've noticed a lot too guys that the crashing mid game is usually to do with the server crashing. 90% of the time when a server crashes while you're playing on it it will also crash your client.
I've had this before. Couldn't get out of it at all. Tried every key on my keyboard.
Had to get someone to shoot me.
