I get the windows message "Arma 3 has stopped working" very frequently when joining a server. It usually takes me several tries to get into a server which is very frustrating since I have to boot the game up, wait for the splash screens, find an open server, etc.
Just a moment ago, I got the crash while in game for the first time. I was flying a helicopter and just came into the main airfield/town and the game locked up and I got the same crash message.
Open Arma 3 multiplayer, select a server, choose class, and press OK. During the loading process, game crashes.
I play with 2 other friends and one of them has the same issue. The only correlation I can see is him and I are both on MAC computers using Bootcamp to run Windows. Maybe there is an issue with this? Arma 2 works just fine though.
I use a Retina Macbook Pro. 2.7GHZ i7, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD, Geforce 650, Bootcamped Win7 64 bit.
So frustrating.... Been trying to join a server for like 15 mins...

Joining servers seems to be better now but I was just in a game, finally got a gun and got to a good spot. Started scanning the horizon with binoculars and BOOM. Arma 3 has stopped working.
I've noticed a lot too guys that the crashing mid game is usually to do with the server crashing. 90% of the time when a server crashes while you're playing on it it will also crash your client.
Ive got the same issue, its totally random and frustrating... here is my specs
Windows 8 Pro X64
AMD FX-8350 4GHz 8 core
32GB RAM @ 1866
XFX R7870 2GB 1GHz core GHz edition Black edition PCI-e 3 x16
OCZ Agility 128GB SSD for C: and Samsung HD400LJ for games
System is 100% stable and this is my first crashes with this game.
