(A)RCO - Medium range scope reticles are blurry / out of place
Assigned, WishlistPublic

Description

While aiming down the sight I am always getting wierd lines,
also happens to any light source (eg. looking at airport from distance).

EDIT:
You can fix it by turning off Depth of Field (i.e. set the effect to 0). {F22701} {F22702}

Definite bug: The sights should NOT be affected by DoF.
This happens with all sights.

Very annoying, because you can´t use arco and rco in multiplayer games like wasteland. You can´t hit anyone, because it´s very hard to aim.

How could you down vote this??? This is a game breaking bug for me, it's been there for months. Extremely annoying and it looks bad.

If the sights would be reverted, the problem will disappear

They could just increase the distance where DOF actually starts blurring. At least that's how i imagine this could be fixed. Not sure if their implementation actually allows for such a change.

It's still happening in 2015.

My guess is that the reticule's "physical object" is a similar to the gun/scope's distance to the camera, so the engine applies the DOF effect to it along with the scope and gun. Pretty annoying and should have been fixed ages ago. As it stands, if you want to even consider using those scopes, you need DOF set to off.

Any word if this is going to be fixed in Marksmen DLC?
