Perhaps this is due to no AI pathing existing on the roof, so they wander?

does it work in SP?
do you execute command where unit is local?

I've been struggling with this same problem. We are trying to place snipers on the roof of the main building at the Ghost Hotel on Altis. Specifically, we placed one on the small square in the center of the roof. I tried:

Similar issue for me last night. .58 exp with old UI. I had a 49% full canteen (damaged) in-hand and was trying to pour into a 0% full canteen (pristine) on the floor. I kept trying to pouring, dropping, picking up, and it was acting like nothing was happening. At some point it seems like both were 0%, then I picked up the pristine canteen and it was 98% full. Somehow I duped the liquid.

Same problem, machete in slot 1 and shotgun in slot 2. Click-click-click to hack with a machete and occasionally it auto switched to my shotgun.

I'll add the problem of zombies hitting you after they are dead.

Also, if you've seen the Steam graphic showing the decrease in players...The recent sharp drop-off is around the time the melee system went south. If firearms are harder to come by, the melee system must be functional.

I had the same problem on Experimental 49x on 16 Sept 2014. The 'please wait' screen took a long time to clear and when it did, I was already taking damage from a zombie.

I had this happen last night in a jail building. Placed a ammo box on the floor between the upstairs bunks. It "disappeared". I went down to the ground floor and the ammo box was there. I have also had items disappear on the ground floor of barns.

This is a problem that goes beyond Wasteland and for sure happens in Exile mod as well. Uniform handling is part of the core game.

In Exile, if you pick up your uniform and chest rig from your corpse (other slots seem unaffected) and other players see you naked, you're going to lose them if you log out. It seems like your client knows about the pickup, but the server doesn't; however, if players see you clothed, you're probably OK. It seems somewhat inconsistent.
