Seems to be random bumps or something. The same thing happened to me on the road heading east just before Novo. Only difference was the tires didn't blow out, just rolled the truck onto it's side.
I've been using the cooking pot as steak storage for quite some time now. But animals don't seem to be working correctly, and hunting is problematic at best with the animal AI being a bit buggy right now, so I dropped the pot and went back to canned foods for the time being. The trick I found is you can't put the steak directly into the slot, you have to just drag it to the cooking pot in your inventory and it should auto-fill. If it doesn't work from your inventory, try putting the pot on the ground and filling it that way, then return the pot to your inventory. Works every time for me.
That's happened to me a few times. I hit the spacebar (raise/lower weapon or fists) to fix it. Also happens with scopes in hand occasionally.
I'm getting a similar effect. I think it's got something to do with the gamma settings and light. Only seems to happen when the sky is in view for me, and happens more often and with more frequency when nearing cities and towns.
I'm not sure that's a bug. I've always seen 3 firewood per tree. Just seems that they are stacked one atop the other in 'vicinity', so it only shows one until the one on top is moved. I can duplicate this stacking effect with items direct from my inventory, but it doesn't duplicate them, they just stack on top of stuff dropped previously in the same spot.
I had the same problem all day. There were only a couple experimental servers populated, the rest all sat indefinitely on "wait for host" or I lost connection immediately after connecting. Tried for about 4 hours before I gave up and went back to the stable branch servers.

One of my friends also has this same issue, and also plays with the trackIR. Could it possibly be related to the trackIR settings? We haven't figured out how to keep this from happening, but it doesn't happen every time he goes prone. He works around this problem by equipping his weapon AFTER he is prone.
