Suppressors shouldn't change muzzle velocity in the first place. They don't in real life, so why should they in ArmA?
First of all, shifting POI is a thing. Reducing muzzle velocity is something else. (Yes of course, changing muzzle velocity also changes POI...)
I can't speak for all types of suppressors on all types of firearms, BUT, in my experience, if suppressors change the POI, it's only by a very minute margin. Nowhere near "a ton". If the suppressors you use shift your POI that much, there's something wrong.
From my experience, the suppressors I use don't shift POI on the weapons they are intended for. And there's no difference on the chronograph.
It's different for End Game. Only certain weapons/equipment is allowed, so your layout must comply.
Hahahaha! Amazon.com reference... Splendid.
Which one? The $89 Barska? The $79 Ultimate Arms Gear? C'mon, get serious.
Ho yeah? Give me one reference of someone that uses a 40x scope in a tactical situation. Just look at major scope manufacturers' (Schmidt & Bender, Nightforce, US optics, etc) LE/Military scopes, you'll find out. Don't argue on this.
Scopes with this much magnification only serve to shoot paper targets, or prairie dogs.
40x is a good magnification for a spotting scope. Not a rifle scope.
40x? That's ridiculous. Most tactical long range scopes have variable zoom somewhere around 5x-25x
Seriously, can you provide more info please? I'd take "we have other priorities right now" as an answer, or I would be very happy with "we're working on something else related to rifles". Anything that makes sense...
But simply "this issue cannot be fixed" is not a valid reply IMO. It tells me that you acknowledged that there is an issue, but nobody cares and ain't gonna do anything about it.
Animations "cannot" be fixed? You must be kidding me...
- I like it.
- You've got issues.
Still an issue with Marskmen DLC and new scopes with secondary sights.
Downvoted. Exactly whay mwnciboo said.

Am I the only one with the opposite problem? I think the FOV is too wide. I keep using zoom in and zoom out, and turnig my head around with ALT to watch all around.
However, even when zoomed in, ennemies at merely 150m away look like they are 400m away! It makes it harder to spot and shoot them.
Anyway, that's my opinion. But in any case, an adjustable FOV would benefit both kind of players.
