I can confirm this.
But i think this should be two seperate issues.
However, i know of many others from reddit who gets memory could not be read now.
And interactions are either laggy/slow or they wont work at all. I havent waited more then 15minutes for a interaction tho. But that shouldent be nesecary right? I aint going to play if 20minutes for eating an apple is acceptable if you know what i mean hehe.
It's doable and we want it to be harder then it was. Stealth system works really great, we can sneak around most zombies. But yes they are a little unbalanced at the moment. Axe should still do the trick, it dont. And as you cant walk around them anymore you just gota stand face to face and fight them. So everytime you kill a zombie melee you are guranteed to get your gear damaged.
Dayz 0.55: Persistence & Loot Infos
As of the 0.55 Stable Branch update, persistence will no longer be an opt-in feature. Persistence is now moving into the active core features “zone”. Private shard operators can request a reset of this through their GSP only in the case of any abhorrent behavior.
What does this mean for you, the average survivor?
As item cleanup and respawn is actively being worked on in order to function on a more comprehensive level – you will see DayZ gameplay become potentially significantly more difficult for 0.55.
Item Cleanup / Respawn will be iterated upon in 0.56 Loot concentration will evolve across the map as players scavenge and pick areas clean If the area you are in seems to be picked clean, you -must- adventure further inland
Again – the behaviors involving sharp declines in loot concentration will be iterated upon and resolved, but for 0.55 you will see the struggle to survive become much harsher.
Are the issue snipe meantioned scheduled for a fix?

Gabe, if this is true (i dont think your are lying just in semi shock :P) there really should be function allowing us to sharpen a stick and grill meat on it directly on fire pits. If they want ppl to use cooking instead of just eating cans it shouldent be that hard. Besides pots and pans take alot of space in our backpacks.
We have tried furnaces, cooking pots, frying pans, directly on fires. it dosent do any difference at all. Besides most of the times players cant even PUT meat in the pot. It just goes red and denys it.
If you have a way to do it you know works, post a picture series or a small video of it.
And if it is so that we need to use less primetive methods for grilling our meat now, that is buged aswell so yeah
I can confirm it's the same issue with firepit.
Also if trying to heat canned food for keeping your jacket warm they also gets ruined in a flash.
