Yup, I have this issue since Day 1. Also voted up all other reports on this.
Can somebody confirm this, maybe a video?
Happens a lot and makes it really hard to play since when it minimizes I can't do anything and just sometimes stand there getting hit by zombies.
I think a nice and easy fix for this. That I think Rocket even mentioned in a previous livestream, would be to just add a delay that gets multiplied everytime you switch a server, maybe up to a specific max of 4 hours. So for example: I play on this one server loot everything. Then I try to switch to another one have to wait 1 minute to be allowed to switch. I loot there and try to switch again, this time it is a 2 minute delay... 4 minute... 8 minutes... 16... 32... 64... 128. If that is too slow and allows for too many server hops you can just change the multiplier to x5 or x10, etc. So 1 minute... 5... 25... or 1 minute 10... 100... .
Agreed. I was thinking of this too. Maybe have the Steam overlay pop up once you launch the game with a link to the newest patch notes. Like if server admins can do that to you and open a tab with any website on the freaking internet they want on any source game which is quite scary actually. Dean Hall should be allowed to make us open a new browser window so that we can automaticly see the newest update to the game.
Can someone delete the ad spam?
Confirmed by everyone I know that plays this game and me.
Yup, having the same issue since Day 1, would love a fix because it is very annoying to try to click in game and end up on the desktop getting smashed by zombies in game.

Still having this. Any fix coming up? Any issue reports on this that have more upvotes than this one?
I have never heard of that program but it would be nice to not have this issue with the game since I don't have it with any other game.
My specs: Win 7 64bit, i7 930 @ 3.41, 12GB RAM, GTX 590
Settings: SLI enabled, everything in game set kinda lowish since I still have a lot of frame drops in cities but everywhere else I get 70-80 fps.
Like I checked in game and I didn't even see a full screen option. Is there a Steam launch setting for that? But for example with Battlefield I play in windowed borderless too and I don't have the issue with clicking the other screen or seeing that hover over issue.
@ friendlyfire What happens if you play on the one monitor and have for example TeamSpeak on the other monitor and then go into the inventory and move the mouse in the direction where the other monitor is. For me it just goes over to the other monitor and when I then click something in game, my game minimizes.
Yeah, I have this issue a lot since I have two monitors. So every once in a while when I trying to do something in game and click the left mouse button which is actually on the second screen, it just minimizes the game which can be really annoying since I am just still sitting there in game (maybe getting hit by a zombie, etc.). Maybe add a full screen option so that it doesn't do that for now.
If that is true, it is a serious contender for biggest Inception in any game.
MOUNTAINCEPTION!!! On a more serious note though I tried this with Taloons and it didn't seem to work with those.
I don't know if this has been said before but a lot of times when items are like on a shelf and all the way on top of it, they don't show up in the vicinity menu so you have to pick them up by aiming at them which I find to be really annoying because it takes longer and it is also really inconsistent, you might even risk glitching your items that it dropped into a wall.
Yup, confirmed and really frustrating.
