Are you sure that you didn't got killed? You know that there's a logout timer, so that your character stays for 30 seconds in the game AFTER you logged out?

Happens to other Zs in other locations as well. Foun in.42 a military Z stucked in a shelf in the small gardenhut, he didn't react either.
