With some weapons it is impossible to hit Zombies, unless you are so lucky to get them when they attack you (which makes them come closer to you, than you can otherwise)

E.g.:
I sneaked up behind a Z with a crowbar, until I couldn't go closer, because I bumped already into it.
Swung crowabr: Miss. Repeated 20 times at least just to be sure.
