Can confirm. I got a gun and some ammo and tried to go down the ladder. Instead of climbing down, my character decided to vault off the top of the tower and he died.

I have sort of found a way around it. I ran into the wall, and while I was running into the wall, I disconnected. I joined another server, and voila, I was not stuck anymore.
