I'm not claiming I wasn't shot. I am objectively presenting this incident to the developers. Perhaps some mechanic should be implemented to prevent this from occurring..

Just had my game crash with the same error. I was in a full stable public server in third person mode in a city. Game lagged hard for about three seconds, froze, and crashed.

My game now experiences the crash upon every exit.

Upon clicking 'exit' in order to leave the server, my game crashed with the same error. I was on a DayZ public stable server.

After deleting the DayZ folder and adding the above parameter, I was able to get to the title screen without issue!
I will report back if anything changes. Let me know if anything else is needed of me.
