Anyway, I had grenade throw bound to 2xG so when I typed two G's in chat I would throw one.

I've noticed a similar issue. I use MSI Afterburner overlay and Fraps at the same time and I get a crash/black screen trying to launch ArmA 3. I fixed it by just using one overlay at the time.

ACE2 had a good system for that. It was something like you said except Shift+1, Shift+2 etc.

Same issue. I'm on a tg789vn as well. I'm not sure if that's the problem though.
