I am not talking about third party missions - I am talking about Arma 3 basic code.

It is a very basic concept.

What is good is good, what is bad is bad. Let's remove the bad!!

It is very easy to do!

I hope you understand this very basic principle.

Let's do it!!!

Arma 3's seemingly refusal to accept ownership of their own game is nothing other than a total cop-out!

Seriously, why am I having to give this feedback? Do you have no quality control over there?

When I now log into the multiplayer game after the latest update, I get 4 or 5 "Tips" that appear randomly each time I am logging into a multiplayer game. One of them states that the Windows key will give player name, plus player level.

False!!!

I see that the latest update has pop-up windows with tips, one of which informs us that pressing the Windows key reveals team players names, which is the answer to the question I have asked here but you have failed to tell me. For your information, pressing the Windows key does NOT reveal players names, nor does it reveal their level as claimed. It isn't even mapped! So what the hell is the "tip" talking about?

Still waiting to hear from ICEMAN about what tools he was referring to.

So let's get this right... the generic message being transmitted about the windows key function is INCORRECT! Because it is only mission specific, and NOT generic.

Lets be clear on this also, I am talking to ICEMAN when I use his name.

He has made a statement and I would like his answer to my question.

Is there anything you did not understand about that?

Thanks for the reply ICEMAN. I have yet to be online in any ARMA 3 game (and I have played a lot) where you can identify other players, let alone vote-kick them as the other commenter has stated. If you can do this, how do you do it?

Also, could you please be more specific about what tools the editor contains to affect player conduct online?

I will indeed contact mission designers/server admin, but I need to be able to know what I am talking about before I start making requests for them to implement changes. I know what the problem is, I would like to know what the solution is.

I deleted my note because I found the command you referred to and so my note was no longer appropriate. Sorry my powers of ESP are not sufficient to have known you had read it before I deleted it - it was only up for a very short time.

Anyway... Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that particular binding. It has indeed enabled me to disable the MMB in game.

AD2001 - you did help and you did provide a fix. And I thanked you for that. Sorry to see you're are still having a hissy fit! Puts your rattle back in your pram!

Dr Death - Yeh, I call buying a war game only to find you can't shoot your weapon because a swap weapon routine kicks in at random every 3 or 4 shots serious. Wouldn't you? No? Yes it is a problem with bind control's - one that Arma needs to address hence my post! You just do not seem to get that though so... hey, lucky you for not having that problem and having no freeking idea what I am talking about!

I think random weapons swaps occurring when you fire your weapon, considering the length of the swap gun animation, is actually pretty serious!

The mouse I am using is very widely used and I was amazed when I searched the Arma 3 reports here and could find no other report of this problem. If people are bullied into removing their reports of serious issues and how to resolve them, how is that of any use to the Arma 3 community?

As far as I know I am in the latest dev build. Check my dev details in post.

Regardless of that, this is my experience in my build!

Do you have the same kit as me?

I followed Arma 3's instructions on how to identify my version of the program and that is clearly displayed on this post.

If you need further information that Arma 3 has not informed me about you should post an issue about that!

As shown above I am using Product Version 1.10.114.700 and as far as I know that is the latest dev version. If not then complain to Arma for not making it clear what the hell information is required here!

You are using a Roccat Savu and not able to recreate my problem? That maybe because I am not using a Roccat Savu. I have clearly specified I am using Microsoft 2-button digital mouse with central wheel. Check out the "Steps to recreate problem" info!
