It's a game difficulty option. In Veteran and Elite difficulty you have only one save per scenario (+autosaves).

Maybe it should be made possible to choose "Unlimited saves" in those difficulty levels too. Especially when you can use "Save & Exit" anyways.

Having crashes too when exiting splendid camera. Crash files uploaded.
Doesn't happen every time. I'm not taking screenshots as original reporter.

Using (Dev) 0.11.103003 version I haven't been able to reproduce the crash. :)
I didn't have to use -nobenchmark option.

No other applications were running when I had the crashes with original Alpha build.

Crash No5 happened right after crash No4. No system reboot between them.
Hard to find consistent repro steps. :(

Uploaded more crash files. All 4 crashes has happened after system boot first time trying to start A3. (Steam in offline mode, tried also once with steam in online mode and crash didn't occur that time.)

As a workaround (for those playing in editor or creating own missions) executing following command fixes the problem.
2 fadeSound 1;

Works fine after setting controls by hand.

But for final game would be nice to have working stick out of the box.

For me it's possible to tab out of the game to empty desktop.
BUT as soon as I start (for example) Firefox from desktop I'm switched back to Arma.
Also if I already have another program running and alt tab to it and then close that program I'm switched back to Arma.
Really annoying.
