I think the best way to go about this would be to make the entire underground of the bunker full of gas. It would make it a true end-game challenge. imagine how many filters you would need for yourself and at least one of your friends in order to loot the entire place not to mention the necessity of getting the full NBC suit and a punch card. It would also make it impossible to stay there too long obviously so besides maybe making stashes one couldn't actually "live" and make a base there.

This happens so much that whenever someone doesn't respond to me I automatically raise and lower my volume level presuming it's this bug. Was a thing for a while but now it seems to be even more frequent somehow. Pretty annoying. I can imagine some people got shot for "not having a mic" when in reality they just couldn't be heard because of this bug.

This would be quite a nice feature to have. I rarely see anyone use the tactical flashlight for example and I personally don't either because it's just too much of a pain to use now. I would personally reconsider if it was as simple as suggested here.

This has been an issue for quite a while and would be very helpful to have it back indeed. This is is just one of the many examples of when it would be especially useful.
