I have correlated log files from three people on this issue, and the only common error.log entry for users experiencing these disconnects is

I've experienced this too. It only happens on areas where the Insignia texture goes to Alpha, if the insignia is a full square with no alpha, or in areas where the insignia meets the edge of the texture without going to alpha first, there is no halo. This also only occurs on some uniforms.
