Error Connecting to Back End // Unable to Maintain Multiplayer Connection
Assigned, NormalPublic

Description

Greetings,

I've been having consistent connection issues.. My issue is fairly consistent and it boils down to a "failure to connect to back end" error message. I have attached several error logs of friends who have experienced the same issue now that the game is fully released.

I have done just about everything I can think of: reinstalling, changing my IP through a VPN, calling my ISP, clearing my DNS, etc.

What happens with this issue varies. Sometimes I'll be stuck on a loading screen forever. More often I'll connect but be stuck in the ocean. Most often I'll connect, but I won't be able to see anyone (or I can see one or two people), but the game drops me to the main menu with a "Internal Error."

Original bug report:
Bug: After joining the GM server, the world is not populated by players or GM placed objects and after ~30s the player is kicked due to a server error. VOIP voices work, and have positioning, but the players and player placed objects are invisible.

There is a fairly significant error log entry ( 50 lines in think related to this directly ) of note was:

19:43:55:230 RPL (E): Connection is flooded by data coming from the network and processing is unable to keep up. This may also be caused by sequence stall. Terminating connection. identity=0x00000001

however there are several resources failed to load and two instances of

19:43:01:029 SCRIPT (W): Formation of group SCR_AIGroup<0x0000029125DC6FD0> not found in SCR_AIWorld! Team members will not be spawned.
referencing: "{8B4D49A9F324E7D5}Prefabs/Groups/PlayableGroup.et"

This happens on the majority of joins to a GM server, and is not strictly solved by restarting.

Investigation: See if this happens when joining an unpopulated GM server. On an unpopulated server, the user is stuck in the ocean until they vote themselves GM. Once they do and have access to the GM functions, the user crashes to the server browser after approx. 30 seconds.

Steps to Resolve: Ensured drivers and OS were up to date. Verified game files. Restarted game several times. Reinstalled game.

Attempts to reproduce: Logging on any GM server will consistently reproduce this issue. If left idle long enough once booted (1-2 minutes), the error message will change to a Backend disconnect error.

I have correlated log files from three people on this issue, and the only common error.log entry for users experiencing these disconnects is

RPL (E): Reliable channel's order sequence appears to be stalled. Terminating connection. identity=0x00000001

I believe this is the only directly related log entry for this issue.

Still happening, 20minutes in the session is lost pretty consistently :(

Experiencing the same exact thing on xbox series x

Not sure if this is the same issue. But keep getting an error everytime I connect and start moving around a server. Anyone else getting similar? int{F2720164}

Okay so I decided to delete and reinstall it and it fixed my issue

I joined a populated official GM server, and the game hung as soon as my avatar loaded. After a few minutes I was kicked with this error.
