If the player uses a bipod, then the high of his weapons (relative to the ground) decreases and creates some problems.
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

I noticed, that if the player uses a bipod, in the prone position, then the height of his weapons becomes a little below (relative to the ground). And if the player removes the bipod, then the weapon becomes slightly higher on the ground.

For this reason, if player uses bipod, then this player receives two problems:

  1. grass obscures the player's overview more!
  2. the image in optics sometimes becomes blured!

Maybe small blur it a problem of my monitor, I'm not sure, but I think that in any case, bipod needs to raise the arms above the ground, but not to lower it. It should be the opposite.
If the player instal the bipod, then the hight of his weapon relative to the ground should become higher, because of the bipod not should be are short.
Please, do the reverse, because the bipod should not create additional problems for review of the player in the any cases. {F26001} {F26002}

Hello and thank you for your feedback.

Do you mean that when you deploy your bipod your weapon lowers? The bipods legs need to touch the ground to be effective. The reason why without bipod your weapon is located slightly higher is due to the fact that you are using your body to reduce recoil and sway.

Could you also please attach the picture of the optics issue you are talking about? THank you

"The bipods legs need to touch the ground to be effective. The reason why without bipod your weapon is located slightly higher is due to the fact that you are using your body to reduce recoil and sway"

I now lay on the floor, at my home and spent a little test)
If a person uses a weapon in the prone position (without bipod!) then this person can have only two ways of frontal aiming:

  1. keep the weapon in his hands, resting on his elbows, lying on the ground. (high position of rifle relatively of ground )
  2. put your weapon and your hands with your elbows completely on the ground. (very low position of rifle, relatively of ground)

These two options cannot install the rifle higher than the weapon, that will be deployed on the bipod, because the bipod should be longer than the forearm of a human. Yes off course, the bipods legs need to touch the ground to be effective.
This mean the weapon which deployed on the bipod, should always be a little bit higher above the ground, than weapons to be used without a bipod.
Also I think, the bipod should give only bonuses, but does not reduce vision of the any soldiers.

"Could you also please attach the picture of the optics issue you are talking about?"

I will try.

Adam, I made a video for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXAWyFOp0I8&feature=youtu.be
And added pictures.

Please use HD-view and look attentively and you will see two problems, that create bipod for vision player.

*With the bipod player has the worst visual overview, grass prevents more, because the rifle of player lowered closer to the ground.
*With the bipod player has a blurred image, for some reason i can see this only only sometimes. Probably it depends on the location of the player to certain parts of the environment.

Before DLC Marksmen, I've noticed that player has the blurred image, if coming close to the leaves of the trees and uses aiming.
Now I see it, if a player uses a bipod.

The optic looks good on my stable build. Could you please see if your Sampling is set to something else than 100%? You can find sampling in Configure -> Video -> General

Thank you for your feedback

I checked, my Sampling only 100%, not more.
I hope you see the obvious problems in my video examples and images.
Even if, blur is a problem of my equipment, in any case, the height of the weapon placed on the bipod should not be more lowered

"The optic looks good on my stable build"
As I said the problem occurs not always. Unknown reasons/
try use demonstration mission "Marksmen"
I first saw the problem there.

I can not say that it is a duplicate. But maybe the solution, the problem will solve all problems.
But your ticket must also be resolved. Deploying Bipod should not pull the weapon - down.
