zoom toggle doesn't work from inside vehicles

Description

Not sure if this has been reported already.
I like to drive zoomed out, and I can't toggle the zoom when I'm in a vehicle.
Works fine as infantry, though. 'Double +' is the default. But again, not when I'm driving, snaps back as though I only hit '+' once.

This have been a problem with all vehicles in the arma series. There are no standard to settings like these.
Different vehicles have different FOV.
Some can have the view locked by +/-, some don't.
You can pan the camera freely around in 3dp mode with some, others have very restricted camera movement.
