In fact that ArmA III will be future orientated, please view the following post about a optical sight design. System dosn't allow *.gif :-(

I second this. Adjustable illumination is already available today. Especially in low light/nvg situations being able to adjust illumination on scopes and red dot sights would be handy.

Would be cool.
Already works with some of the ARMA 2 ACE scopes.

I like that it can zoom in and out as well.

Looks like a gadget to me, no need to have every "Revolution" ingame.

It is the RCO on the Mk17s in Arma2 OA, with ACE it has all 3 sight settings. 1x 4x & BUIS on the top. You can also get these with a mini red dot on top like on the ACOGs.

RCO in Alpha already has an additional holosight, but in Public Beta there will be a 3D scope that works just like this (switchable 1x or 4x zoom).
