Vehicles tires screech while breaking, no matter on which surface. Maybe you should use a gravel sound for offroad breaking.

Off-road tires also screech while accelerating.
Yes, i have noticed this, too
especially on the civillian offroad, but also in the hunter
Also, correct me if i am wrong, somehow looking with ALT while in the interior view while turning the tires just a little bit results in constant squeaking tires
absolutely correct. but its only the civilian offroad with the constant squeaking. meanwhile it moves slowly by itself when you only briefly press forward and its a little bit juddering
Its not squeaking but rather the friction sound of rubber tearing at pavement. Not only is it out of place on dirt, sand and grass but it should be reserved for takeoff or abrupt stopping on pavement, when speed decreases rapidly.
I was going to make a topic but luckily found this one first. The squeaking tires should only be applied to ground vehicles when breaking abruptly at higher speeds (Perhaps above 50 or 60 km/h?) on pavement/concrete.
It's very unrealistic on a dirt based island like Stratis (even on the concrete road, there is dirt and dust from wind and everything), it should not produce squeaking at all. Maybe just when it's raining.
Also just braking shouldn't produce it on its own, you don't hear squeaking when you drive a car, do you? It should be quite rare to hear the squeaking or when you do a quick turn.
Yeah i raise an eyebrow each time i go down a road on a flat surface. I let go of the throttle then the wheels starts screeching like made even though it's only slowing down ha ha. The worst is when going down a hill and touching nothing.
Just to be the devils advocate, I run 32" BFG AT/KO on my 2011 GMC Sierra. I slammed on the brakes (deer) on "lightly packed" dirt road and to my surprise they squealed just like on pavement. Now I vote up for this, cause it wont happen on grass haha.
I drove on the main (red) road of Altis in a civil offroad and in a straight line going 20-30KM I constantly had that screeching sound, I was not even giving gas. I think you guys should delete that sound completely to be honest cos it is sounding more at unrealistic moments then the other way around. (constructively meant)
