If you check the patch notes, you’ll see at the bottom of the post, under the header ‘known issues’ it says ‘It is difficult to find the refuel option for vehicles’

Yes I saw the known issues item. It is not "difficult to find", it is impossible - simply not working at all. I spent with it good hour, all the gymnastics around fuel lid and other spots on the car. Standing, crouching, proning, bottles, pots, one car, other car, doors open/closed, engine on/off... When devs/testers call it "difficult" one would expect that with reasonable effort you would hit it and refuel. Not really. And so here goes my bugreport to get it more attention. If there is way to refuel the car - lets hear it.

Alright I found how to refuel Gunter:

1. Open door next to fuel lid (rear-right door)
2. Walk as close as possible to rear-right seat while standing
3. Aim cursor at fuel lid - refuel action shows

And for Olga similar way possible:

1. Open closest door (rear-left for Olga)
2. Stand in the opening (you'll get little lifted)
3. Aim at fuel lid, maybe little bit away from car

GG for sharing the info. I suppose the point I was making was that the devs are aware of the issue. Fingers crossed it’s fixed before stable drops.

cannot get it to work on the sarka

by the method above, I can refuel the gunter .. .

Sarka too can be refueled - stand in open door.

Although I did not see fix listed, Gunter does not have this problem anymore - can be re-fueled normal way. (as of 1.10.153546)
