This sounds similar to my issues around the Rify area. Anytime I run to Rify and close to the Boat the game freezes and I have to ctrl alt del out of the game, when I bring it back up, it loads me back to the original spawn point which is the nearest area...a factory area I believe. I just stopped going by that area...

No Screen shots, but I can say I've seen floating Items in the Residential House Areas. Soon as you walk into a House usually right by the door I've seen a Floating Backpack and a floating Med Kit in another house. It's like stuck in the wall...Not just floating in the middle of the room or anything.
