Why did you mark this as major? You obviously have never played the ArmA series before.

I think this might be dependent on the mission you were on or something, as I have seen names in global just fine. Could also be a bug that names don't appear in chat sometimes, I remember that from Operation Arrowhead.

@sykotika My only issue with this is that it was at such a high priority, severity under the wrong section and really just something that should be on the forums instead of here, you would get better support there for the idea too, and probably even links to the CTI missions floating around which are pretty much warfare.

This should not be a high priority, and these kinds of missions already exist. Hope you get banned from creating issues, your part of the reason public alpha's and issue trackers are a pain in the ass for developers.

Have had this problem with backpacks added to containers using addBackpackCargo as well.

looter added a comment to T60098: I would like to see all inventory at once without clicking into areas.

I have never gotten why the developers feel a need to compress your gear menu when all you'll be doing in that screen has to do with your gear, there's no reason to have it all in a confined space. They should use as much of a players screen as they need, and we shouldn't have to fiddle with going into each. single. pocket. of. clothing. to. get. what. we. want. see how annoying that is?

A quick and easy solution for the sake of being an alpha could be having a tree-view on the left, showing each item and where it is in a tree like system. Ideally, the gear screen would be larger and your vest, and clothing add to the number of items you can "hold", with backpacks being the only real piece of gear that needs its own area of micro-management.
