friendlyfire, there are items spawning in the old brick houses which were in arma 2 dayz mod, so i think barns at least should have items spawning in them. besides log cabins are new-ish, but so are loads of other buildings and they still have loot in them. you could be right, maybe a developer can tell us.

can confirm. ping on servers varies from excellent to abysmall

i have had this issue not only with gloves. it seems it makes the item you previously put on invisible for awhile, but then it corrects itself. ony in the inventory though.

i can confirm that this happened to me, and if i'm not mistaken, masks can also bug the thirst status of you character. this i found because i wasn't able to satisfy my thirst with a mask on (or at least after wearing one) which slowly killed me.
